Shan is the founder of Werkz LLC, which equips citizens and professionals with holsters for their light bearing pistols. Shan has carried concealed since 1990, and started Werkz in 2010 out of a passion for designing holster solutions. Finding a lack of quality holsters for pistols with lights, Shan focused the company on providing light bearing holsters. Shan's high-tech engineering background helps drive detailed improvements in both the design and manufacturing of light bearing holsters. Shan established Low Light Defense to provide the community with quantifiable and unbiased information on weapon and handheld lights.
Shan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, an MBA, a Juris Doctor, and is a member of the Oregon State Bar.

Matthew Little retired as the training coordinator and an operational supervisor on a major metropolitan SWAT team, and is a US Army Special Forces combat veteran with decades of operational, instructional, and training experience in firearms, tactics, and combatives. Matt is also a lifelong martial artist and former nationally ranked competitor. He is ranked as a master class shooter by the US Practical Shooting Association, the Steel Challenge Shooting Association, and the International Defensive Pistol Association.
Matt has instructed police and military personnel in the U.S. and abroad, and has taught firearms, self-defense and martial arts extensively to civilians. He has written articles on training and tactics for nationally syndicated magazines, and has published his first book, “The Way is in Training.”

Brian is owner and head coach of The Complete Combatant located in Dahlonega, GA, a Heckler & Koch (HK) Brand Ambassador, a presenter at National Conferences and past owner of Fusion Fitness and MMA.
Brian is a Certified Red Dot Instructor with Scott Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Project. Brian Hill is also a Rangemaster Certified Master Instructor with Tom Givens of Rangemaster and a past Tac Con Presenter. Brian is also a 4th degree Black belt in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Karate, a 3rd degree Black belt in Taekwondo, and a certified MMA Conditioning Coach. He has been a full-time instructor since he was 18, and he personally trains every day.
Brian has graduated from Force Science Institute and holds a Force Science Analyst Certification. Brian is a certified by Massad Ayoob Group as a Deadly Force Instructor to teach and certify self-defense firearms instructors in the complicated and nuanced discipline of teaching the legalities of use of deadly force in self-defense.
Additionally, Brian has GRADUATED with HONORS from Andrew Branca's Law of Self Defense Instructor Program! This program provides professional-level understanding of the theory and application of self-defense law. Brian is also a member of Active Self Protection's (ASP) Instructor Development Portal and is one of the qualified instructors listed on ASP's Instructor
Directory.
Lastly, Brian Hill is a former deputy with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department Reserve.
